Aiden O’Brien Signs New Deal

Volenti client, Millwall forward Aiden O’Brien has signed a new long-term contract with the Championship club.

He has been with the club since he was in his early teens and signed pro terms when he turned 17 in 2010. The 24-year-old Irishman has scored 34 goals in 163 appearances since making his debut for the Lions in a League Cup match at Wolves in September 2011.

O’Brien stated: “I’ve been here for so many years now and I’m happy to dedicate another two or three to this good club.

“I’ve been with the gaffer throughout my whole time here. Playing with him, my manager in the Under 21s alongside Scott Fitzgerald and he has given me the chance in the last couple of years since he got the job.

“I hope to say I’ve repaid him in some ways and I’ve got another long-term deal here, so I’m delighted.”
